Easter holiday and all my kids are here!

Tie Die Easter eggs that were a mess.  My favorite is the egg that was exposed and Sam made it into a chick.  This poor egg only lasted a day before I had to throw it out.  El stinko.

ELDER ACKER RETURNS!!!

Waiting, waiting, waiting, his flight was delayed an hour and 15 minutes!

The happiest of reunions!!

Poor baby threw up a few times on the plane...I just loved hearing his voice and I stared at him from the back seat.

The next morning...oh how I loved to see him in his bed.  At home.

His garments and shirts were filthy, no longer white but a shade of brown and grey.  He worked hard!!

A spring storm the day before Elder Acker returns!

It started out not too bad at 6:30 in the morning, but then it never stopped until that night and it was a doosey!
Bradley came home early from work and took me to Walmart for some last minute necessities if we were to be snowed in!  I needed poster board and a bookshelf, most importantly-Ha Ha!

Tried shoveling the walkway several times but it would just fill up again and quickly at that!
The next morning.  This afternoon Joe comes home from his mission back to a snowy winter wonderland.

Emily Ann's mission call

Waiting as she prepares to open the call.

The glorious mission call letter from The First Presidency
Let's celebrate at Los Arcos, of course.  Emily's choice.
We had to start shopping right away as we don't have a lot of time.  The first day out shopping we found a darling raincoat.  A necessity for Louisville!!

Emily's endowments.  What a special night it was.  She did great.

Then, there came the tribulations and trials of a soon to be missionary...A car accident with Sammy Singer.  Just a fender bender but they got hit hard enough that Emily had a concussion.  She had it for about 3 weeks and this slowed her down a bit but didn't stop her!  This is her obvious pain as she battled a headache everyday.  I was hoping soup and grilled cheese would make her feel better!

Bronco Country.

So I am too dang lazy to try to put all of these photos in chronological order, so it is a compilation of the Bronco game at Aaron and Megans, and the ride on the light rail to the Bronco Superbowl Celebration Parade downtown.  All the kids took the day off of school and it was so so so fun!!!

Sam made this cake for the game.

These next 5 shots are when Aaron stood up too fast and fainted for a second when the Broncos had their first awesome play of the Superbowl.  We all had a good chuckle over this one.

Holding hands helped.

Waiting for the bathroom at 7-11 downtown.  Ew.

The 2 unfamiliar boys are the helpful young brothers who led us to the greatest spot in the parade.  Nice kids.

This is where we took the wrong friggin' light rail home and ended up at Mineral and Santa Fe when we needed to be at Dry Creek and I-25.  We walked for about 20 minutes before David Singer picked us up and saved the day. We were poooped!!
After a long day, we got our cars and I followed the girls (in Sammy's jeep) and hit Chik-fil-A before we went home.  Actually, the girls went straight to work at Montessori after this.  Poor kids must of been exhausted.
A MAGICAL EVENT!!
