The Bolder Boulder

Our day in beautiful Boulder, Colorado...We love Boulder and want to move there...
Waiting for dad to get to the finish line!! I spotted Brad right away and pulled out the camera! He is in a blue shirt between the speakers!

Right after the race, Brad looked HOT (literally and figuratively)with his veins bulging on his forehead!

Time to relax and watch the Memorial Day Ceremony! I had such a blast with my camera. Brad and the kids went down close to the field, while I stayed up high in the bleachers to catch some photos. Sky divers were dropped from airplanes and my zoom lens caught them in air. The event was very moving and Brad even felt a tear in his eye.

Seconds after the ceremony ended, the sky opened up and poured on us...We had a adventurous walk through the CU Campus and were soaked by the time we got to our truck. It was an awesome day!

Joe...Goodbye Middle School!!!

Joe's last day as a middle schooler. During his continutation ceremony he received his continutation certificate and his Honor Roll certificate. He is such a smarty pants! We had seats in the last row of the auditorium so my zoom lens tried it's best to get a shot of him on stage!
Joe and Chipper-always next to each other because of their last name! Braydon and Harper went along...so sweet!

Emily is a star!

Emily had an end of year concert with her Performing Arts class. The show was entitled "Welcome to the Sixties". It was a groovy show with popular songs from that era. Emily had a blast learning these songs.

Emily's Humanities class performed a play from a Greek Tragedy. She played the role of "Euridis", a mother whose son was murdered by his own father, so she killed herself out of sorrow. A very uplifting story. She also played a role in the "masked choir". She is on the top row in the middle.

Another dance recital

This time it was a country western song...Samantha is always right on beat!

Samantha's field day

Field day at Ames was extra fun this year because they used up extra PTO $$ to purchase slides, obstacle courses, etc. for the kids.

"Yah! Number one!" Sam was rubbing in her success a bit too thick for me this year. I found out later that her Dad told her to "be competitive" and she was.
Joci, Levi and Grandma Jean came to Sam's field day. Here is Levi cheering the kids on!

Ames Elementary closes it's doors

Ames Elemetary had a celebration open to the community to honor it's many years with Littleton Public Schools. It was a bittersweet day with lots of singing, food, artwork and memories! This is Samantha's 2nd grade class singing and dancing for Principal Kliendinst.

Diet Pepsi and Mentos

Samantha had an all day field trip to Coors Field and they did experiments with a local science guy named Steve Spangler. She performed one of her favorite experiments for us in the front yard.

FHE in the front yard

Brad and the kids played a game of "Monkey in the Middle" and they were having so much fun that I grabbed my camera. I love my camera. And my family.

Oops, how did that get on here?
