Seriously, I can't keep up with my blog...

To sum up the last 2 months...Here is Emily and Megan before their Christmas Concert at Newton

Emily is part of Knight Notes, a small group of kids that auditioned to be a part of this special choir!

Knight Notes walked out into the audience for the final song of the night!  Really pretty!!

This is so "Samantha-like" and I had to post it.  Samantha gets creative with stuff around the house.  Here she made a depiction of our family frolicking in the snow.  The snow is the inside of a diaper! (not a dirty diaper, just one that she got wet and tore apart!) and each of us is made out of an old Polly Pocket doll or a clothesline peg.  She printed out photos of us, cut them out and glued them on, hair and all!

This is me and Brad as a snowman

 Sam making a snow angel
 Joe laying in the snow
Christmas #1 with my Mom and my brother's family...Samantha with Levi...

The boys, Christopher, Joe and Tanner...no Spencer this year as he is on his mission!!!
Grandma Jean and Grandpa Mark recorded their voices to a "Twas the Night Before Christmas" book for Levi. This is Grandma Jean trying to get the book to work.
The holidays aren't complete with out a game of bball at the church.  Lots of laughs and lots of kids.

The Acker brothers exposing their belly's

My favorite part of church bball, is chilling on the stage, usually with a sister-in-law or two!  Here I am with Kris, who is expecting in the Spring!  Emily took these photos!

Christmas #2 at Nanny and Papa's.  Santa arrives!!!

Madelyn reading from Luke and the kids acting out the wonderful Jesus in the manger story.
Jaxson plays the donkey, Isabella is Mary and Michael is Joseph
Here are the angels waiting for their cue...
Nanny getting everyone to gather around her for the opening of presents, or as I like to lovingly call it, "Complete Christmas Madness"
 And away they go!!!!!

Samantha and Grace making snow angels in the wrapping paper! It's hard to make them out amongst all the color!
Our newest member of the Acker family is Brandon.  Believe it or not, he is the spitting image of Emily at this age.

I just had to scan a photo of Emily as a baby!  What a resemblance!

And finally Christmas #3 and by this time we are tuckered out.  Nice to have a quiet morning with our kids. Feeling very blessed this year despite the trials.

Bishop's Night Out with our Young Men and Young Women of the church.  This year was bowling and pizza. Me, Joe and Emily went from our family-no Brad this year as he works with the Primary now!  All the youth were there and it was a fun time.

Me, Emily Jones (Laurel Advisor) and some of the Young Women, Nicole, Mary and Cameron!  Love these girls!

This is Brad's rash from "H".  No idea what it is yet. Still waiting on the biopsy.  It only appeared on his forearms, hands and neck.  It stayed with him for months and these photos are when it was at it's worst! We all think he looks like one of the scary guys from the movie I am Legend!

Samantha had "Crazy Hair Day" at school and she came up with this outrageous hair do on her own.
