Light the Night Walk for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

Light the Night Walk for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  We walked for my Bradley and for so many others suffering from this terrible disease.  Unfortunatley, Brad couldn't walk because he was sick that night.  We had me with the family, including Mike, mom and Mark!
My dear friend, Cathie, who has been volunteering with this organization for years.  She checked us in!

 The Tice family joined us!
The balloons had lights in them, but my brother's was malfunctioning.

 Oh boy, cake!!
 Entertainment beforehand
 End of the night!

Joe and Emily and Prom 2012

Catching up on our blog, almost a years worth!!!

The summer of 2012 we took a couple of trips to beautiful Colorado mountains.  First was with our Emily and the Young Women.  It was a hike up Cheesman Canyon.

Brad and Brother Macfarlane resting on the rocks.
Girls took a dip in the freezing river water!

This was my special day with my kids and some of my neices and nephews.  We spent the day at Elitches.  Really fun day for all!

Stopped at McDonalds on the way home for some cheap sundaes!

Brad and I went to Vail this summer for a weekend get away.  It's been a stressful year and what a great way to escape and relax than on the river.
I spent my time collecting heart shape rocks for my collection at home.  I found a ton that day!

Switch to our weekend in Vial with the kids!  Vail village and the Lego car!
Can you guess what's in Brad's mouth?  A chocolate covered twinkie, perhaps?

This was our view from our room.  The "floating man" was always in the pool everytime we checked.
What's a summer without a handstand contest in the pool?  Brad and I tied for first.

This reminded Sam of the scarey bunnies we have in our backyard, so I took a picture of it.  ha ha
