15 years ago on Valentines day Brad proposed marriage! It is time for a flash back to that magical time! Hope you all get a good laugh at our engagement photo. I know we did! We thought we were really something back then.

Samantha's Baptism

Yep, it seems like yesterday that Samantha was in diapers and now she is baptized. It was a wonderful day with many family and friends there to share in the happy occasion. Thank you all for being there!! All week she anticipated this day. She was like a little angel-her ears and eyes were wide open, listening to every word that was said to her during the ceremony.

Skate City!

Samantha held her 8th birthday party at Skate City. All her best pals were there. She was so happy and she lit up like a disco ball when I dedicated the song "Dancing Queen" by Abba to her.

The party started with a complimentary new pair of roller skates!

Sam and her unusual ways

Samantha is a pack rat and it is common that she keeps garbage if it has some sentimental value to it. She took it to a whole new level this week. I noticed her toe nails were getting too long so I said, "Oh, we need to trim those toenails!" and she responded, "No! They are my buddies. You can't cut them!" And she was serious. They are long and starting to curl, but we can't cut them because they are her friends. Should I be concerned?

I think the highlight of our Christmas morning was Emily's Xbox 360 "Lips" game. It's similar to a karaoke machine and we had some fun with it! Check out Joe's moves in the video.
